1. Both "Scandal" and "Pretty Little Liars" are about a group of people working to solve mysteries and handle the mind-blowingly crazy things going on around them.
2. Both groups have spent tons of time searching for the identity of the mysterious chaos-causer.
3. And when it's revealed at the end of Season 2, it's shocking.

17. And so they manipulated married old men to sleep with them?!

19. Speaking of cheating, both shows have the one headstrong, powerful lady who struggles with the knowledge of her husband's infidelity
20. But for everyone's sake, they stay together - even though no one's really happy with it.
21. Both shows have THAT one character
That character that brings out so much hate and love and emotions I've never thought possible
22. One minute they're out for blood..
The next they're having an absolute breakdown
And then still the next, they're actually trying to help out
23. PLOT TWIST: The dead girl's really alive!
24. And when she returns, she brings more problems for our leading ladies than ever
25. Both PLL and Scandal have mastered the art of cliffhangers
26. And most importantly...
Both shows are ridiculously, gloriously, unapologetically insane
