Tiny College Takes Over Tiny Town

Last weekend Clinton, NY was "taken over" by an estimated 300 students from Hamilton College, a prestigious liberal arts institution who's total enrollment sits at about 1800 students.

The coup d'etat was orginally reported in the local paper, but was soon picked up by the Wall Street Journal

there were people every where - roaming the streets and spilling onto the lawns of neighboring homes

A a state trooper was brought in to control the situation

But those who are familair with Hamilton were suspicous

300.... really?

The 'Cac reported that it would be hard to find a pack of 300 Hamilton students anywhere, let alone the keg-less streets of downtown clinton

Students who rent the houses in downtown Clinton were blamed by the community

But students were like, "they basically want us to be bouncers in our own homes"

The moral of the story is - small schools can party just as hard!
