Housemartins Singer Bans David Cameron From His Pub

Paul Heaton isn't happy with the Prime Minister. It's not Happy Hour again.

Hull has won the competition to be UK City of Culture in 2017.

So David Cameron decided to burnish his 80s indie credentials and pay tribute in the House of Commons to The Housemartins, who recorded the album "London 0 Hull 4".

Unfortunately this hasn't gone down very well with Paul Heaton, the band's lead singer.

When I took over my pub in Salford, the first people I barred were Cameron and Osborne. That ban still stands.

It's not "Happy Hour" around his place.
