Response to What Kitchen Items Do You Swear By?:
My wooden spoon. I know it sounds simple and not all that special, but I can’t cook without my very specific, good wooden spoon. It’s like my kitchen BFF. I’m even packing it for my move to the UK.
I felt the exact way growing up and in to my mid-20s.
Response to Is Your Mother-In-Law Actually Amazing?:
I’ve never actually met my mother-in-law, Sue, in person. My husband is from England, I’m American (he still lives in England while we go through immigration); and we met on Twitter. Despite our best efforts, I’ve yet to be able to visit England. My mother-in-law is disabled and not able to travel to the States. Even though we have never been able to sit down in the same room, she has been there for me in so many ways. She has supported me emotionally and financially when I’ve needed an extra mother in my life. My mother-in-law has paid for my husband to fly to visit me, sacrificing for us to be able to spend a couple weeks at a time together. She has loved me and I have loved her without even having had the chance to hug each other. I’m thankful for her. I hope one day soon I can meet her and my sister-in-law in person.

Response to 12 Things All Millennials Are Sick Of Hearing:
General consensus on the whole matter shows that the majority of people find this generation to be lazy, narcissistic and entitled, yet these same traits are the reason millennials can’t and won’t see they’re the issue, not the rest of society’s older generations. I think a good work ethic trumps whether someone knows how to tweet or post on Facebook. And the reason you’re not buying houses or cars is because you’re broke and mommy and daddy are tapped out from your entitled lifestyles.
Also, it’s foolish to just start using these candle rituals and symbols without knowing what you’re doing. These spirits are nothing to play with. They demand servitude. You can’t evoke their help without giving something in return.
This is hoodoo and voodoo, not witchcraft. The symbols all shown represent a different Loa.
