If you're planning on new shoes it's best to break them in a bit. I usually bought new shoes in the last 2-3 weeks of training, mostly to ensure they had no hot spots.
Seriously consider running without headphones. On a practical level it can be a dangerous distraction for you and others, the volume required to overcome the race day noise can permanently damage your hearing, and some races ban them anyway (as a distraction or a form of performance…Â
