Dunkin' Donuts Might Be Dropping The "Donuts" From Its Name

But don't worry, it's just a change in semantics. The brand is opening a new store location in Pasadena, California, that will be called simply "Dunkin'", according to the Associated Press.

The reason for the change? The stores will still sell doughnuts, obviously, but want customers to think of Dunkin' as more of a destination for coffee.

People on Twitter, however, were largely opposed to the new name change.
