21 Things That Are So, So Uncomfortable

    I feel weird inside.

    1. Wearing a backpack while sitting in a chair.

    2. People watching you while you do stuff.

    3. Turning around after your turn at bowling.

    4. When you're carrying something with both hands and your bra strap slips out of your shirt, but you can't fix it.

    5. Imagining someone biting on a spoon or fork really hard.

    6. When two people are whispering to each other in your vicinity.

    7. When the seam at the toes of your sock is not perfectly aligned with your toes, and you can feel it in your shoe.

    8. When you're wearing a coat and you start to get warm, and sweat inside the coat but it's still cold outside.

    9. Seeing a coworker outside of work.

    10. Having to walk past the clipboard people.

    11. Using the toilet right after someone else, and the seat is vaguely warm.

    12. Watching someone give a presentation who's noticeably nervous.

    13. Washing your hands while wearing a long-sleeved shirt.

    14. When you're driving and wearing a jacket and it gets uncomfortable, but you can't do anything about it.

    15. When you have to go around the room and say a fun fact about yourself, but you can't focus on anyone's answer because you're too busy worried about what you're going to say.

    16. Eating in front of someone who isn't eating.

    17. When your sock partially comes off in your shoe.

    18. When people are singing "Happy Birthday" to you and you don't know where to look or what to do.

    19. When you're doing the dishes and you touch some soggy chunks of food.

    20. When there's a hair in your mouth and you can't figure out where it is to remove it.

    21. And running into someone you haven't seen forever and then running out of things to talk about within 30 seconds.
