It's basically every kid's dream to be a mermaid. So two lucky women at BuzzFeed fulfilled their childhood goals and made the ultimate transformation into ~beauties of the sea.~

Michelle and Dot were pretty excited for the experience.
They enlisted the help of a real life ~professional~ mermaid to teach them the ropes.
After getting glammed-out with mermaid makeup, it was time to put on the tail... which it turns out, is no easy feat.
But it's definitely worth the struggle because the results are FIERCE. AS. FUQ.
Once the ladies got in the water, they quickly realized the costumes were the easy part, and swimming with a tail on was the real challenge.
Like, that 'ish is NOT easy.
Dot was NOT trying to drown.
But eventually, the ladies got the hang of it, and were lookin' like total pros.
WERQ LADIES! Er, I mean, mer-ladies.
