It's been a few years since I traveled abroad from America — three guesses why — but I'm ready to get back out there.
In fact, I have a trip planned to Scotland this spring. (Here's hoping nothing vacation-preventing happens between now and then.)
As excited as I am, I'm a little nervous, as I typically am when I leave the country.
It's not so much the plane ride (though as a Final Destination fan, that'll always get my nerves going a bit) or spending a lot of time alone as a woman in a foreign place — I just don't want to be one of Those Annoying Americans.
