There are certain jobs that tend to elicit an "oh, cool!" reaction from people when they hear about them.
I always thought flight attendants had a pretty cool job.
Same goes for the people who edit movie trailers.
Of course, I have no idea what the pay and benefits for those are like.
I myself used to have one of these jobs — I spent about a year on the social media team for Nickelodeon's '90s brand, where one of my responsibilities was literally watching cartoons and creating content based on them.
While it was definitely a cool job that I loved doing, it didn't pay very well, and because it was contract work, it also didn't come with the benefits a typical full-time role did (like a 401K or a healthcare plan that didn't cost several hundred dollars a month).
If you have (or had) a "cool" job, I want to hear about it — and whether or not you think it's worth the pay. Let me know in the comments (or via this Google form if you want to remain anonymous) for a future BuzzFeed Community post.
