The more technology advances, the harder it seems to completely keep up with it — at least on more than a superficial level.
For instance, I used to just connect to public Wi-Fi networks without a care in the world, just so I could check Instagram.
Thankfully, I never got hacked before learning why that's a terrible idea, but I still laugh now every time the MTA prompts me to sign into their Wi-Fi network.
