Everyone knows how to cook pasta...
But what if I told you you've been doing it all wrong?
According to restaurateur, TV host, and foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay, there's a much better way of cooking pasta.
In a video, Chef Ramsay gave a full step-by-step:
Start off by seasoning cold water with salt and olive oil* and bring to a rolling boil.
Add pasta and turn once it begins to "melt."
Taste the pasta. It's done once it's tender, but still firm when bitten (AKA al dente).
Here's where it gets crazy...
Drain the pasta and season with one tablespoon olive oil, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
There you have it — Gordon Ramsay's secret to making "perfect" pasta. Watch the whole video below and judge for yourself.
