The secret? Teigen suggests preheating your roasting pan in the oven for 10 minutes before you add your potatoes.
While fairy simple, the technique seems to have quite a following online, and several people swear by the technique for cooking various items from chicken breasts to French fries.
So the next time you make roasted potatoes (or any roasted veggie that you want to get crispy), go ahead and preheat an oiled pan in the oven for 10 minutes — a tablespoons or two of olive oil should be enough.
