    23 Things You Need If You're A Grown-Ass Adult Who Can't Function

    Inspired by yours truly!

    1. An Amazon Echo so you can have a digital personal assistant help you with everything from playing music and setting appointments on your calendar, to checking the weather!

    2. A magnetic weekly meal planning pad, because if you forget the creamer again this week you might ~actually~ cry over spilt milk. Structure your food for the week and rip off a handy shopping list to take with you to the grocery store so this never happens again.

    3. A 60 minute visual timer for anyone who has trouble focussing and needs a visual reminder that time is passing by while performing daily tasks at home, school, or work. Just set a time, and get back to work!

    4. A pack of makeup-remover cloths so you can stop falling asleep with makeup on because gross gunk has been soaking into your pores throughout the day and these cloths — paired ~with ONLY water!?~ — will wipe it off in seconds!

    5. A pack of organic and recyclable ethylene-absorbing apples that'll soak up all the gases in your fridge that are causing the fresh fruits and veggies you just bought to spoil before you can eat them. I swear to the fridge gods, if my box of $5.99 strawberries pre-maturely molds again, I will cry.

    6. An organizer for your desk so when you come to work 30 minutes late each day, at least your desk is neat! Keep books and trinkets organized in a clean and personalized way.

    7. A pair of amber-tinted glasses for adults who spend hours in front of a computer (Me, literally right now) and end up with pounding headaches at the end of the day. These'll rescue your tired eyes by minimizing eye strain caused by blue light emitted from digital screens and fluorescent lighting.

    8. A totally personalized Care/of vitamin subscription service so you can brag to your doctor on your next visit about how healthy and responsible you are now. You'll know exactly what you're getting for what your body needs.

    9. A wine stain remover that'll magically erase all kinds of spills you got on your clothes (like wine, coffee, and spaghetti sauce), because if you ruin one more white shirt you're gonna scream into the void (which is also what I call my bank account).

    10. A weekly pill organizer because if you skip your meds one more day it's going to be an annoying situation! Use this to take your medicine and vitamins daily and when you're supposed to. Might be hard to swallow, but this is super important!

    11. A set of two massage balls for those of us who feel like their backs turned 80 this year without us. Work out the pain points in the muscles around your body so you don't build up stress over time.

    12. An eight-pack of Skyn Iceland's firming gels to de-puff your under eyes, because you went to bed at 2 a.m. again after binge-watching season three of Queer Eye. These gels are so refreshing as they firm and tone (especially if you store them in the fridge).

    13. A 15-pack of meal prep containers to help prevent another day at work with a rumble in your stomach and no food to soothe it. Portion out your lunch and dinner at the beginning of the week and you won't have to scrape together a mediocre meal.

    14. A pack of divider sticky notes that'll help you out of that procrastination rut and become the Elle Woods of whatever it is you're working on (like taxes LOL). Divide and conquer those goals of yours!

    15. A hanger stacker, because it's hard enough keeping your clothes hung up and organized after laundry day. This will fix one of the most annoying storage problems so you actually do your chores on time.

    16. A shirt-folding board to incentivize you to actually put away your laundry when it comes out of the dryer. You know, instead of clumping it all in a "clean pile" that eventually gets dirty because you never took the time to fold it all in the first place!

    17. A tracking bottle that'll help you remember to put water in your body before your pee turns from clear to yellow from dehydration. You'll soon be saying, "H2Omg I'm so hydrated."

    18. A comfy, memory foam chair cushion for anyone who's been searching for something to help soothe their back pain and/or work on their posture. Slouch city over here!

    19. A set of four packing cubes so you can pack more efficiently instead of shoving everything in your suitcase at the last minute and praying. This helps prevent wrinkly clothing, overstuffed luggage, and overall travel headaches.

    20. A bottle of makeup brush shampoo, because your crusted and dusted makeup tools are looking down and out and in need of some TLC. Keep your brushes clean—without the use of harsh chemicals—and prevent those breakouts that sprout every time you contour.

    21. A mini fabric steamer, because you've been skating by with wrinkly clothes hoping no one would notice. But now you want to look fresh. Steaming the wrinkles out is such a small detail but can make a WORLD of difference when it comes to how professional and put-together you look and feel.

    22. A bottle of bitter-tasting nail polish for any adult who needs help curbing their nail-biting habit once and for all. This will literally leave a bad taste in your mouth.

    23. A carpet stain remover for anyone who has spilt one too many glasses of wine on the carpet and professional cleaners are out of the budget. Get the job done yourself! The results speak for themselves here.

Future you looking back on present you getting your shit together.
