I’m from the area she disappeared from. It always hits me when we drive by the billboard that has her picture on it. I didn’t know it was a case anyone aside from people around here knew about!

I teach special needs for K-2. I was having my kids use LEGO type blocks with letters to spell out simple words and then sound them out. In once session I had kids spell “Cox, jiz, nip” and “fuq”. Completely innocent but I swear I’ve never shut down a lesson so fast!

I wish I had known that I didn't need to prove my queerness by buying every Tegan and Sara song (even though they are great) and watching every episode of The L Word. I'm queer because I'm queer. No proof needed.
