Gather 'round! I'm about to tell a little story about Chrissy Teigen, LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers, and fake news, that has truly illuminated my otherwise dreary and hot Monday morning.
Whether or not you follow basketball, you've probably heard that NBA superstar LeBron James just signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Up until the news was announced last night, people were speculating about where the former Cleveland Cavaliers legend would end up.
BREAKING: LeBron James makes his decision
Since Chrissy Teigen is known for trolling and being generally hilarious on Twitter, she decided to start some "rumors" before the news came out:

She "claimed" to see him at an embroidery shop with a Lakers jersey, which is obviously exactly how all NBA players get their jerseys embroidered...

...and even added some very accurate "photographic evidence":
