So, after what feels like the longest five months of all time, Riverdale Season 2 finally premieres next Wednesday.
But, if you remember correctly, last season ended on a complete bummer — Archie's father, Fred Andrews, was shot and we have no idea whether or not he survives.
Well, last night the cast of Riverdale was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy revealed that not only is he a huge fan of the show, but that he's already watched the first episode of the new season — and I'm jealous AF.
Jimmy obviously couldn't give too much away, but one thing he said has me freaking out a little bit: "Two people — I don't even want to say who it is — end up in the hospital."
When Jimmy said that, I flashed back to this Season 2 promo and realized we probably DO already know the other character he was talking about — Cheryl Blossom's mom:
Since Cheryl's mom DID make it out of the Thornhill fire in one piece, I'm super-curious about how she ends up in the hospital? Does she go back inside to save Grandma?! Does Cheryl attack? I JUST NEED ANSWERS.
And what if that wasn't even the character Jimmy was talking about on the show?! We can only know for sure one week from today. Until then watch this delightful clip of the cast sharing a milkshake together:
