Miley Cyrus Dealt With An "Unfriendly Costar" On "Hannah Montana"
"She just wanted the girl to like her."
Miley Cyrus's Hannah Montana days are far behind her — in fact, she's been through so many different phases ever since the show ended back in 2011.
But some things never change, according to one of the people who knows her best — her grandma. During Miley's recent Harper's Bazaar cover interview, her grandma innocently spilled a little bit of tea about Miley's Disney days.
She explained to the writer, Jessica Pressler, that Miley is actually super sensitive, and used this IRL example:
The thing is, Miley is sensitive. “She’s not confrontational,” says Mammie, who, while we are hanging out on set, tells me a story about Miley’s attempts to win over an unfriendly costar back in her Hannah Montana days, the details of which I won’t repeat at the risk of making Mammie appear indiscreet. “She just wanted the girl to like her.”
HMMMMMMMMM... Since I am also an extremely classy person, I won't weigh in and deduce who she was talking about — but feel free to draw your own conclusions if you want, my lil' sleuths.
Later in the interview, Miley herself also suggested that her time on the show wasn't exactly ideal:
"People were so shocked by some of the things that I did,” she goes on, referring to her twerking period. “It should be more shocking that when I was 11 or 12, I was put in full hair and makeup, a wig, and told what to wear by a group of mostly older men."
