I Made A Netflix Playlist Of All The "Friends" Holiday Episodes

    One of my favorite things to do when I have time off is watch Friends. And since 'tis the season to be jolly, I was thinking about how I wished I had all of the holiday-themed episodes in one place.

    So here's a list of all the Friends episodes that took place during Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's Eve!

    And if you're still in the mood for Thanksgiving, here's a list of all of those episodes.

    Season 1, Episode 10: "The One With The Monkey"

    Festive moments: The group makes a pact not to have dates for New Year's Eve (which sounds like a pact I unintentionally made with myself for many years) but they all break it except for Ross — who goes and gets a monkey instead!

    Season 2, Episode 9: "The One With Phoebe's Dad"

    Festive moments: Monica and Rachel throw a holiday party but the heat breaks, Phoebe tries to work up the nerve to visit her father before Christmas and Chandler and Joey gift their friends some "found" objects, like toilet seat covers and condoms.

    Season 3, Episode 10: "The One Where Rachel Quits"

    Festive moments: Joey gets a job selling Christmas trees and it upsets Phoebe, Ross accidentally breaks a young girl's leg and helps her sell cookies.

    Season 4, Episode 10: "The One With The Girl From Poughkeepsie"

    Festive moments: Rachel hates being single at this time of year, so she gets Chandler to set her up. Phoebe struggles to write a holiday song for the rest of the group, but she finally sings the hilarious final product at the end of the episode.

    Season 5, Episode 10: "The One With The Inappropriate Sister"

    Festive moments: Phoebe collects money for the Salvation Army for Christmas.

    Season 5, Episode 11: "The One With All The Resolutions"

    Festive moments: The group all make resolutions for 1999, which gives us the gift of THAT scene with Ross and his leather pants.

    Season 6, Episode 10: "The One With the Routine"

    Festive moments: Ross and Monica perform a dance routine at a taping for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Rachel, Phoebe, and Chandler search for their Christmas presents that Monica hid around the apartment.

    Season 7, Episode 9: "The One With All The Candy"

    Festive moments: Monica makes holiday candy for her neighbors, but they all get a little bit TOO over-excited about it. Ross gives Phoebe her first bike.

    Season 7, Episode 10: "The One With the Holiday Armadillo"

    Festive moments: Ross decides to teach his son Ben (Cole Sprouse) about Hanukkah, and gets an armadillo costume to do it. (Major props for the Hanukkah representation! And, fun fact: In almost every other season you can actually see a menorah in Ross or Monica's home.)

    Season 8, Episode 11: "The One With Ross' Step Forward" (aka "The One With the Creepy Holiday Card")

    Festive moments: Ross' girlfriend Mona wants to send out a holiday card but he thinks it's too soon — so he gives her a key instead. Lol, classic Ross.

    Season 9, Episode 10: "The One With Christmas In Tulsa"

    Festive moments: Chandler has to spend Christmas in Tulsa (ugh!) and Selma Blair flirts with him. Luckily the whole "Chandler in Tulsa" plot ends here. This is also technically the *ultimate* holiday episode since it's a clip show — which means it has flashbacks to many of the episodes mentioned above.

    (And there was no holiday episode in Season 10 — after "The One With the Late Thanksgiving" the next episode aired on January 8 of the next year.)
