A "Tangled" TV Series Is Coming To The Disney Channel

Best. Day. Ever.

Good news, Disney fans - the creators of Tangled are continuing the story of Rapunzel and Eugene, this time in a series on the Disney Channel.

The show will be traditionally animated, and depict the time between the events of Tangled and Tangled Ever After (in which Eugene and Rapunzel get married).

According to the Disney Channel, the series will follow Rapunzel as she puts her wedding and royal life on hold to learn more about herself, her family, her kingdom and the world around her.

Along for the ride will be Tangled faves Eugene, Pascal, Maximus and the pub thugs, plus a new character called Cassandra, a "tough-as-nails handmaiden" and Rapunzel's new BFF.

The series has already begun production, with Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore returning to voice Eugene and Rapunzel once again.
