    There are a lot of incredible places to travel to in the world, but sometimes they don't always live up to your expectations.

    When Reddit user u/OyeYouDer asked people which famous tourist destinations were worth the hype, these were the some of the most popular answers...

    1. The Alps

For a thousand years, that spot right there was the center of civilization. Consuls, poets, philosophers, emperors all stood there once.
