Viserys Targaryen, the current king in House of the Dragon, is probably the nicest and most well-equipped person we've seen sit on the Iron Throne across the Game of Thrones-verse — but, uh, the bar is pretty damn low.
Which is to say he's still low-key terrible at his job and, while a loving family man, also kind of terrible to his family? Like, I still haven't forgiven him for what happened to Aemma in Episode 1.
But he stepped up the terribleness in Episode 2 when he contemplated MARRYING A 12-YEAR-OLD. And yeah, he didn't want to but, just look at this picture.
As if that wasn't bad enough, his solution to the whole marriage problem was to MARRY A 15-YEAR-OLD INSTEAD, i.e. STILL A CHILD, who is also his daughter's best friend, plus he announced it in the worst possible way — seemingly not even telling Alicent, let alone Rhaenyra?!
