You Can Preorder God Of War: Ragnarok Right Now, Including Bonuses And Collector's Editions

Ragnarok's flashy Jötnar and Collector's editions are jam-packed with physical and digital goodies, but they might not stick around for long.

PlayStation fans won't have to wait much longer to dive into one of the year's most highly anticipated games, God of War: Ragnarok, which is set to launch Nov. 9 on PS5 and PS4. If you're eager to secure your copy for day one, you can do so right now — God of War: Ragnarok preorders have just gone live, and there are several editions up for grabs.

If you're interested in either of the premium physical editions (Jötnar or Collector's), I recommend trying to snag one ASAP as these tend to sell out fast. Remember you can always cancel a preorder before launch, and most stores (like Amazon and GameStop) won't charge you until the item actually ships. Also, these editions sometimes go in and out of stock several times, so keep checking back if an edition is sold out at a particular store.

God of War: Ragnarok preorder bonuses

Preorder any physical or digital edition of God of War: Ragnarok, and you'll receive a couple of digital cosmetic items: the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic.

Preorder God of War: Ragnarok Jötnar Edition

The Jötnar Edition is the ~fanciest~ (and most expensive) version of God of War: Ragnarok you can pick up. It's jam-packed with premium physical collectibles designed by developer Santa Monica Studio, which come in a gorgeous box representing the Knowledge Keeper's Shrine from God of War. Note that it comes with a digital code for the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game rather than a physical disc (despite coming with a steelbook "display" case) — this is similar to what Sony did for Horizon Forbidden West, so unfortunately it seems to be becoming a trend.
