This will also work great for yogurt and granola!

Promising review: "My life can be divided into two parts: before and after the Obol. Before the Obol, my life was a cornucopia of misery and suffering. The inevitable sogginess of my breakfast cereal caused me to live in a miasma of despair. The eldritch ability of the milk to foul Cap'N Crunch or Raisin Bran seemed an impossible foe. With every snap crackle and pop, like drums in the deep, I knew the saturation was coming for my precious malted grains. How can one enjoy the morning repast free from the heinous congealing of granule and dairy? Obol, you have lifted the veil from my eyes. You've opened a new world for me. Thank you Obol creator. You know not the positive effect on my life." —Chris W.

Promising review: "I have had blackheads on my nose since I can remember and they just keep getting bigger. I have tried the peeling masks, monthly facials, etc... but that wasn't enough. I ordered this kit (along with a microdermabrasion one) to try and fight back... It gets EVERYTHING out and I don't feel like I am damaging my skin. It's very easy to use. I use this kit two to three times a week and have noticed a BIG difference in my pore size. I like to use this before I put on any skincare or makeup products. Just quickly get a few noticeable areas and then apply toner, lotion, and primer before makeup. After three months of use, I found this kit works MUCH better than the microdermabrasion tool I also ordered. These are just easier and quicker! A few times a week, I can quickly clean out my pores after washing my face. My pore size has noticeably shrunk." —Sherri Lee

I had really dry heels and slightly starting to get cracks in them and no amount of soaking and scrubbing with a pumice stone and moisturizing was doing the job to fix the small cracks. I soaked my feet for 15 minutes then I left these boots on for an hour and a half. Then, I rinsed my feet and put socks on to sleep. No joke, four days later my skin was starting to peel all on my toes and heels. It was gross but sooo satisfying. My feet are in much better condition now. I love these. Promising review: "I don't normally leave reviews, but I was so pleased with this product I feel I have to share. I bought the Wekapo inflatable air sofa as a gift for my husband to use for our week at the beach (he likes to nap on the beach). However, he hardly got a chance to use it because the friends we went with, as well as myself, couldn't keep ourselves off of it! Super comfortable, easy to inflate, didn't seem to lose air pressure. I was also surprised the fabric didn't get hot in the sunlight. Everyone loved it and I have a feeling many will be purchasing their own. I think it will work great in other environments as well, can't wait to take it on trips with us, or just hang out on the back deck on it! 100% would purchase again and will probably purchase a couple of others to have at the house because it's a great price. Thanks Wekapo!" —Grace Screeney

While just taking them out and sitting them on the shelf would have solved this problem as well, this solution is more fun. The neat thing about this set (aside from its cool, detailed look) is that the TV has a handle-operated screen — you can actually watch Mario move across the screen reacting to enemies, obstacles, and power-ups. I won't spoil it here, but there's also a very cool Easter egg tucked inside the console that they'll get a huge kick out of once they're done building it.

Promising review: "This is the first Lego set I have ever put together. I bought it because I grew up in the (now) retro video game age and thought this would be a really cool item to display in my home office. What an incredible piece of nostalgia! It took me two mostly full days to complete, which was actually a real pleasure to do. At first, I just wanted to get to the end to see the final product in person, but as I got lost in the moment putting it together, I actually wanted to slow down because it was so therapeutic I didn't want it to end. As others have mentioned, the item was shipped with no outside packaging, so if you are ordering this as a collector's item, I wouldn't do it through Amazon. But if, like me, you just want a really cool piece of nostalgia, I recommend this 100%." —Norcalsurf

Travels anywhere. Not many rules to learn, just create words in a crossword puzzle and use all tiles. Can rearrange puzzle as many times as you want to fit in remaining pieces. Most games take 20 or 30 minutes. We often wind up playing best two out of three because the excitement is so much after the first game. You won't be disappointed. 49. An air fryer they can use to crisp up veggies, french fries, chicken wings, and more of their favorite foods without soaking them in oil. It's from the makers of the Instant Pot!

    The air fryer
Some chicken wings before and after cooking in the fryer
    Hannah Loewentheil / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed editor Hannah Loewentheil finally caved and bought an air fryer while in quarantine, and she's glad she did:

"I figured I would be using this appliance primarily as air air fryer, but as an added bonus, it can also roast, broil, bake, re-heat, and dehydrate food. I've had it for about three weeks now, and I can honestly say it's become the hero of my kitchen. It preheats quickly, it's large enough to hold a good amount of food at once, it's easy to clean, and it makes food taste crispy on the outside and moist on the inside without any oil. I've been using my air fryer to make vegetables just about every night, and it makes them taste so good. If you're cooking for kids, picky eaters, or you just don't get so excited about eating vegetables, the air fryer could be perfect for you. If you like chicken, the air fryer might change your life, and I don't mean that to be dramatic. The air fryer produces restaurant-quality chicken that tastes absurdly decadent, except there's no oil involved in the cooking — just air. We also tried making sesame chicken in the air fryer using boneless skinless chicken thighs. The sesame chicken tasted almost identical to my favorite Chinese takeout, and it had nothing to do with my cooking skills. Thanks to the air fryer, the chicken gets so crispy. I couldn't believe I made this at home!!" Check out our full Instant Vortex air fryer review for more deets!

Place the sous vide in a pot of water and place vacuum- or plastic-sealed meat inside to have it heated to the exact desired temperature for perfectly cooked steak, pork, chicken, and fish every single time! It can even pair with a phone app.

Promising review: "This Thanksgiving, we splurged and bought a Wagyu roast. It’s the first time we’ve tried this. The roast was very expensive and the last thing I wanted to do was screw it up. After an exhaustive internet search, we decided to try sous vide. Fortunately, we had a pot big enough to fit the roast. I set it to 133 degrees, and it cooked for eight hours, after which it went into a 550 degree oven for 15 minutes. It was absolutely perfect. I have done other foods, fish, chicken, and it always comes out delicious. If I can trust a VERY expensive roast to this device and have results like this, I can cook anything with it. 54. A Razer Iskur gaming chair with an adjustable, built-in lumbar support cushion designed to hug their lower back for ergonomic comfort. It's *perfect* for dads who play games at a desk or who work all day from home.

the all black razer iskur chair
the same chair from a different angle

I've had the Iskur for over a year and use it for both working from home and playing PC games at my desk. It's a *fantastic* chair, regardless of whether the dad you're shopping for is a gamer or not, with a ton of adjustability so they can make it fit their needs. Assembly takes a bit of work and some of the pieces are pretty heavy, though I was still able to get the job done by myself. But once that's done, they'll have a sturdy, comfortable chair that'll last them for years and help offset some of that back and neck pain that comes with sitting for long hours. Do note that it has Razer's slogan ("By Gamers, For Gamers") on the front-facing side of the seat, but it's not super noticeable unless you bend down and look, especially if you get the all-black version. I'm a fairly small 5'3 woman, but you can check out a review from a different perspective below.

Promising review: "This chair supports up to 300 pounds. I am 5'9 and 220 pounds. If you have big thighs, you will feel locked into this chair but make no mistake, being locked into how this chair wants you to sit is a good thing. You likely have bad sitting posture but this chair will fix that for you. By putting you in a neutral spine position, you will have zero back pain after sitting in this for hours a day. $500 is a lot of money for a chair that some people say is uncomfortable. However, paying thousands of dollars later in medical bills and having a bad back later in life is much worse. This chair is going to train you to have good posture after just a little bit of time and at first, it might feel weird. You get used to this chair after a week. Trust me, I used to have back pains in my old chair but with the Razer, my back feels fantastic. This chair is worth it. It might not have RGB, but it will make your life better. If you’re a king and you know it, get yourself this throne." —C. B.

    55. A Lifestraw personal water filter if they like to spend a lot of time in the outdoors and want to be prepared for every possible situation — this'll ensure they *always* have access to fresh drinking water.

Promising review: "This thing is no joke! I took it backpacking on Maine's Bigelow range. When I ran out of the water I brought, I was A-ok with this. Just bring a wide mouth bottle to fill with water you find. On top of one of the lower peaks, I drank from the most disgusting-looking crevice filled with brown scum. I thought, this is going to be safe, but taste horrid. WRONG. TASTED LIKE THE FRESHEST SPRING WATER. Better than any tap. I'm from Maine, and I've tasted plenty of water right from mountain springs, so take my word. One caution: It can be a little challenging to start. You have to prove it by soaking. If it still doesn't work, blow into it a bit. Get one for your outdoor adventures, and one for your bug-out bag, which everyone should have in case of natural disaster." —Amazon Customer

a pile of shredded meat next to the shredder claws
Shredder claws in orange next to some shredded pork

Promising review: "These work wonderfully! I originally purchased them because I was cooking for a group of 100+ on a trip. We made about 40 pounds of shredded chicken thighs. Having made the same meal about a year prior, and spending a couple of hours shredding chicken with two kitchen forks, we knew there had to be an easier way! Using these shredding claws, we shredded 40 pounds of thighs in about 45 minutes. There were two of us and we kept swapping, because shredding still hurts your back/shoulders. But these claws are so sharp and useful that it took less than half the time! I've since used them to make shredded pork at home & they also work wonderfully for that!" —H. L. Kern

Promising review: "My cool daughter bought this for me as a birthday present. I instantly tried it and noticed that the weight was perfect and it gave a much deeper, thicker, and fuller sound considering I was using it on an unplugged electric-acoustic. It was really the thought behind the gift that made it priceless to me, but the fact I love using it so much is an awesome bonus." —Darren De Wilde
