The Flowers From The Royal Wedding Were Donated To Hospice Patients

Well this is damn wholesome.

Hey guys, you probably missed it but over the weekend there was a wedding in Britain.

I heard a couple people talking about it but I don't think it was really a big deal.

If you watched it, you might have noticed there were a LOT of flowers. Look at this whole damn wall.

Apparently these floral arrangements – made with foxgloves, peonies, and white roses – were designed by "a team of florists" from Buckingham and Windsor Palace. Imagine one building having a whole TEAM of florists on staff. What a life. Anyway.

Rather than letting them go to waste, once the wedding was over, the flowers were rounded up into bouquets and sent to a variety of charities and hospices.

St Joseph's Hospice in London posted this photo to their Facebook and suddenly I'm crying?

"Today we got a very special delivery," they posted. "Beautiful bouquets made from the #royalwedding flowers which we gave to our patients. Our hospice smells and looks gorgeous."

So good to see them going to an appreciative home.
