Being an adult is the worst.

1. Your alarm goes off and you have no idea what’s happening and why anything could be so loud so early in the morning.

2. So you snooze for as long as you can before dragging yourself out of bed despite feeling like you need ten years more sleep.

3. As you get ready for work you regret every single decision that ever led you to being an adult who has to do things.

4. You drink your first coffee like it’s an elixir of the gods, but it just isn’t enough to get you going.

5. When people at work ask you how your holiday was, you find it hard not to get sad while reminiscing about the good times.

6. And you ask people what they got up to, even though you don’t really care and you’re busy thinking about all those episodes of Making A Murderer you binge-watched yesterday.

7. You open your email inbox and immediately wish you’d stayed home.
