I really wanted one of them to say “ain’t nobody got time for that.”
One of our inalienable rights as defined by our founding fathers is the pursuit of happiness. This means that while the government cannot guarantee happiness, it also cannot stand in the way. We live inafree country. This means that we are free to do whatever we please so long as we are not infringing upon the rights of others. The Bill of Rights and the Constitution were set up to protect this freedom and our rights not take them away from people we don’t like. Setting upagovernmental road block toaparticular groups happiness is directly undermining the ideas this country was founded on. Did we learn nothing from the civil rights movement?
