Yes, Antarctica is a desert, and actually, it's the world's largest desert, spanning the whole of the continent! You may have to embrace some rocky seas on your journey to get there, but you will be rewarded with amazing, once-in-a-lifetime views, and, of course, penguins!!

The Gobi Desert, located in China and Mongolia, is considered a cold desert and will even occasionally get snow, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still get hot there! Keep your eyes focused on your trip and try to spot some of the magnificent wildlife, such as the wild Bactrian camel, the Gobi bear, and snow leopards, or see if you can find a dinosaur fossil!

Extreme temperatures and lacking surface water, you may be surprised at the species you'll find in the Kalahari Desert, including springbok and wildebeests in the south and giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas in the north.
