4. Because gender stereotypes also hurt men.
Phrases like "Man up!", "Boys don't cry", and "Be a man!" do more harm than good.
5. Because women are still woefully underrepresented in public office.
At the rate we are going, it will take 500 years for representation to be equal in our government.
6. Because men can be an integral part of the push for feminism.
The fight for equality can't possibly be done alone.
8. Because we can all benefit from more women in male-dominated science fields.
9. Because chivalry is about politeness and respect, not subjugation.
Manners know no gender bias.
10. Because patriarchy affects both sexes.
Embedded notions of patriarchy and male toughness encourage dangerous behavior, make men more prone to violence, and can cause them to become emotionally distant.
11. Because when the roles are reversed you can see how ridiculously women are portrayed in commercials...

14. Because men can be the victims of physical abuse as well.

17. Because you might have a daughter someday.
And she certainly deserves equal treatment and opportunities.
18. Because actual feminism is not about demonizing men.
It's about gender equality, plain and simple.
19. Because who in their right mind wouldn't want equality?
When you help women gain freedom and rights, you gain the same in the process.
