This Deleted Scene From "Back To The Future" Is Pretty Offensive

Great Scott it's good they cut that.

A deleted scene from Back To The Future has been circulating this week, featuring Marty and Doc having an awkward conversation about Marty’s mother, and ending with a homophobic remark.

The clip was first posted to YouTube in 2011.

In the movie Marty travels back in time to the 1950's and meets a teenage version of his mother, Lorraine, who develops a crush on him.

In the deleted scene, Marty is nervous about potentially having to hit on his own mom.

Doc gives him some man-to-man advice along with a wink of encouragement.

Needless to say Marty is reluctant.

But that's not the worst part: He then makes a pretty blatantly homophobic comment, remarking, "This is the kind of thing that could screw me up permanently. What if I go back to the future and I end up being gay?"

Luckily the offensive scene was left out, and *30-year-old spoiler alert*, Lorraine ends up falling in love with George, Marty's dad, later on that night.

The scene was reportedly included in the DVD extras of the movie, which turns 30 this year.

The '80s were a different time, huh?
