France was rocked by a coordinated terror attack in Paris on Friday, the deadliest in the city's modern history.
The attack unfolded during a soccer match at the Stade de France, leaving fans shell-shocked.
But as the massive crowd evacuated, many fans showed solidarity by signing France's national anthem, La Marseillaise.
And in an emotional show of support, French exchange students who had gathered in New York's Union Square also sang their homeland's anthem.
Impromptu vigils were also held around the world in the wake of shooting attack at the satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
