    1. This pack of suede heel grips to not only prevent existing blisters from getting worse, but to also help prevent the backs of your shoes from getting bloodied up when the unprotected shoe backs scrape against your skin.,

Promising review: "I have very narrow heels so finding shoes that do not slip is incredibly difficult. However, since I have purchased the Pedag Stop Padded Leather Heel Grips, I have been able to wear all of my shoes. The heel grips are thick enough to keep my shoes from slipping in the back but not too thick to where it makes my shoes feel smaller. Also, the heel grips are made out of a super soft leather. Even through having sweaty shoes, the heel grips have stayed stuck to the back part of the shoe. Each set of heel grips is wrapped individually so it is easy to store the extras that I am saving for shoes in the future." —Derek

A reviewer's sneakers: one with dirty white soles, one looking brighter and cleaner

Promising review: "I have had my Nike Roshe runs for about a year now and I don't go easy on them. I play sports and run in the dirt with them all the time but I also like to wear them for fashion purposes. Pink Miracle helped restore my daily shoes to look like I just bought them. A reviewer showing the deodorizers inside multiple pairs of sneakers

Promising review: "I’m a nurse, and wear sneakers every day. They are pretty stinky by the time I get home, and I’ve tried everything! I buy two sets of shoes, so I can rotate them and let them dry out in between uses. These charcoal deodorizing packets are wonderful!! My shoes smell great, my closet smells great, and I don’t have to use a spray anymore." —KKWie

BuzzFeed Editor Elizabeth holding a pair of heels with the heel stopper on the bottom
    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

Elizabeth, a BuzzFeed editor, put these to the test as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding after writing about them in a ton of shopping stories. Here's what she had to say:

"When my friend asked me to be a bridesmaid and I learned I'd be walking on grass for the ceremony, I got a bit worried. What's a klutz with a high center of gravity to do while trying not to 1) fall down in front of approximately 150 guests or 2) keel over while quietly stifling tears during her friends' vows? Buy some Heel Stoppers, that's what! I was able to easily slip them onto the glitter-encrusted heels (and later remove them with no damage to the heels).

On the day of the ceremony, these sturdy pieces of plastic made the heels much easier to walk in and prevented me from aerating the lawn. My feet still hurt to high heavens because those gorgeous shoes don't have a lot of support for a seldom stiletto-wearer like me. Out of all the dough I spent on my bridesmaid ensemble, these were the biggest bang for my buck!"

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in four sizes).

    5. This boot-fix glue because we all wear our coziest combat boots to the point where they're falling apart at the front. This glue will dry nearly instantly and won't expand when it hardens. The dried glue also stands up to heat, cold, and moisture.

Promising review: "I was very skeptical about using a shoe glue-type product after a shoe repair store owner told me that he wouldn't/couldn't reattach the sole on my Timberland work boots. He said that no adhesive would hold but maybe try superglue. I bought a bottle of Boot Fix Glue and followed the directions on the package to reattach the soles that had come apart at the toe. I've worn the boots several times now spending hours crawling around historical cemeteries doing restoration work. The repair is holding up fine. I am pleasantly surprised that this product actually lives up to its promises." —Kindle Customer

    6. A 24-pocket over-the-door organizer so you can protect your shoes from accumulating dust and cobwebs when you just chuck them under your bed for storage. Plus, this hangs on the back of your door so you can keep your shoes from taking up floor space!

The organizer with clear pouches hanging on the back of a door. It has enough space for 12 pairs of shoes

Promising review: "Having no place to store my shoes was driving me nuts, and I was always tripping over shoes. I wasn’t sure if the pockets in the organizer would be large enough for my Crocs, but they fit perfectly when I put the shoes in heel first. (For reference: my Crocs are women’s size 9). I was able to get two pairs of sneakers in the last two sets of pockets as well. The pockets seem to be well-made, and I’m confident that this shoe organizer will last." —A. Roach

The product in a spray bottle

Promising review: "I got this and sprayed it all over my black Ugg boots! ALL OVER! Maybe I sprayed a little too much, LOL! This spray is absolutely clear and leaves no residue. This worked so well! I was able to wear my Uggs in the rain and in the snow and NO water soaked into them. I couldn’t believe it!! Uggs are so comfortable but it’s a bummer that they don’t make them weather resistant. GET THIS PRODUCT! A reviewer showing the furry insoles

Promising review: "My Uggs slippers, after many years, still had perfect outer soles and the suede uppers slippers are fine, except for all the cooking spills they've endured. When the insoles finally wore down, I considered tossing the slippers and even bought another pair. Then, I heard about replacement inner soles and bought these. My slippers were saved from the garbage! I'm still wearing them, mistreating them, and loving them. The new insoles were a great purchase." —Fillmoe

A reviewer showing the six small sneaker balls

Promising review: "I bought this for our rock-climbing shoes which we wear with no socks and these work! We put one in each shoe with the ball rotated to the open position and our shoes stay fresh. I'm actually surprised at how long one ball lasts and how not smelly our stuff is. We've been using these for a few months and each ball still has the same freshener left inside of it. I'm extremely happy with these." —Kristina

Promising review: "I walk my dogs on the trails every day by my apartment. Not everyone picks up after their dogs and sometimes there is mud and whatnot. I have three pair of sneakers that are always in the wash. The problem is that they take DAYS to dry, even in the sun at 90 degrees. The inserts showing comfort for the heel, arch, and ball of the foot

Promising review: "I used to get custom orthotics for foot problems related to flat arches and weak ankles. I tried these on a whim several years ago and have never gone back to custom. These are just as good, if not better, at a fraction of the price. Note that these are not the kind with gel pads or other gizmos — they are actually good sturdy support. They also purposely don't extend all the way to the front of the shoe, which leaves more room in the toe box for toes to lie flat. If you're looking for some 'cushy feeling' in the bottom of your shoe, these may not be right for you, but if you're looking for good orthotic support, especially if you're on your feet all day, these are perfect with a good pair of ankle boots or sneakers." —Laura6872
