14 Of My All-Time Favorite Purchases From Amazon That You Might Love As Well

I even tried a few ~infamous~ products from nearly all of our posts (*cough* cold brew maker *cough*).

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A variety pack of six hot chocolate sticks because there's nothing like watching late-night holiday movies and sipping rich cocoa to warm you up (marshmallows not included).

The pack I got included two of each: milk chocolate, white chocolate, and dark chocolate.

Dry hot cocoa mix tends to not taste very flavorful, IMO. However, I loved the idea of melting a stick with chocolate on it inside a cup of warm milk. To make the hot chocolate, I heated up a mixture of milk and heavy cream on the stove (the heavy cream makes it EXTRA smooth). Then, I transferred the milk to a cup, unwrapped a hot chocolate stick, and swirled it around the milk to let it melt.

The result is a creamy, chocolatey heaven that sure does hit the spot (especially if you add in your own marshmallows, like I did).

    2. This mango-scented shea sugar scrub to make every shower feel almost like a spa treatment (but for much, much less).

I've long been a fan of these Tree Hut sugar scrubs, and the tropical mango-scented scrub is no exception. First off, the smell alone is enough to transport you to a tropical island paradise. When I shower with this, the entire bathroom smells like sweet mango for at least the next 30–40 minutes. And, the scent lingers a little on my skin even after I've dried off.

It's meant for exfoliation and although there are big sugar crystals inside and the texture is grainy, it doesn't feel super rough on the skin. It's formulated with shea butter — a family favorite ingredient for decades — sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, orange oil, and safflower seed oil. This actually leaves my skin looking soft and glowy, and feeling moisturized — even without lotion in the cold, dry winter.

Get it from Amazon for $9.29.

    3. An air fryer because it's been cooking my food more quickly than oven or fryer (with less oil and with less clean-up). I think it's safe to say that it has almost completely replaced my oven (almost).

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

This air fryer is (clearly) one of the best purchases I've ever made! Everything that gets cooked in here ends up crisp and delicious instead of soggy and full of grease. I've used this to cook fish, chicken, eggs, cheesecake, fries, potatoes, and more. Though, I will say that desserts like cake and cookies are best saved for your traditional oven.

I even use my air fryer to heat up leftovers (sorry, microwaves) because of how crisp and tasty everything turns out. I just pop everything into the basket, set the temperature, set the time, and let the air fryer work its magic. It makes a loud beep when the time is up.

Get it from Amazon for $85.99+ (available in two colors).

    4. This tube of Acure Brightening Facial Scrub — it's gentle texture is tough on dead skin cells but won't leave your face overly dry and gasping for moisture.

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

My skin is primarily oily, but during the wintertime, it alternates between oily and dry. Luckily, I haven't had to change my facial scrub to match my skin's temperaments because this stuff does the job either way.

One tube lasts me for around six months since I use a very small dab (quite literally less than a dime-sized amount). It has a very mossy smell, which I actually kind of like because it's actually a soothing scent first thing in the morning and it makes me feel like I'm using good ingredients on my face.

This exfoliates so well that I've actually seen some acne marks on my face lighten up over time with continuous use. And, it always leaves my face feeling soft and smoother.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    5. A cute cross-body bag because who the heck wants to lug around a heavy tote bag all the time? This pretty little thing can be used with a casual outfit or something more elegant.

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

And get this: it actually doubles as a fanny pack! I actually initially bought it because it was a fanny pack and I had never really owned one, though, I liked the idea of having something hands- and shoulders-free that was just big enough for essentials. It comes with the strap pictured above so you can turn it into a crossbody bag if you so choose.

I am able to fit my phone, a small card holder, lipstick, sunglasses, a phone charger, keys, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Sometimes less really is more, and this bag proves it!

Get it from Amazon for $18.99 (available in four colors).

    6. This compact cold brew maker — yes, we put it in so many posts, but YES, this simple contraption is just that good at effortlessly making iced coffee.

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

I love iced coffee, and since I haven't been going out as much and thus, haven't been buying iced coffee, I needed to get my fix some other way. Enter, this brew-making beauty. It's a pretty simple design, actually; you fill the inside filter with your favorite ground coffee, screw on the top, fill the pitcher with water, and put the filter and top over it. You let it sit in your fridge overnight (or for at least four to six hours if you need your caffeine ASAP). Then, you can poor yourself a cup and sip while you take on your day. It's big enough to create four servings, so I have to repeat this steps once every four days. Not bad, not bad.

This thing is basically a ritual at this point. Every day, like clockwork, I open the fridge, pull out my cold brew maker, and pour my coffee. I add my fixings and go upstairs and start working.

Having this in my home saves me so much money. And, I feel more free to experiment with flavors since I can make it all right at home. It more than pays for itself after just the first week of use!

Get it from Amazon for $15.99+ (available in two sizes and three colors).

    7. And a set of Starbucks flavored syrups so you can feel as if you're taking a trip to Star-bae without actually leaving your home. Your grande iced vanilla latte is basically already in your kitchen.

I can't stand bitter coffee, so I need to spice things up somehow! I got these syrups so I can recreate some of my favorite drinks at home and they have been game-changing. They've turned drinking homemade coffee into an experience!

The set I chose came with two vanilla syrups, one caramel syrup, and one hazelnut syrup. My favorite is the caramel syrup, but the vanilla one is a close second. All you need is a small teaspoon of this stuff and you're good to go.

    8. This pair of buttery soft leggings for when you don't feel like wearing jeans.

A reviewer wearing the leggings in black

Ordering leggings online can be a hit or miss because they may be too thin, too small, or not stretchy enough — no one wants to go through the trouble of returning a measly pair of terrible leggings. But these are perfect! They're thick enough that they won't show your underwear or your thighs, and soft and stretchy enough to let you feel like you can move more freely. The waist band on these leggings are a little more firm than the bands on most others, which is great for making sure they stay in place. Because of this, I suggest sizing up if you want the most comfortable fit. The size I bought was comfy enough for me to keep them, but if I were to re-purchase, I would order the next size up.

Get it from Amazon for $15.99 (available in sizes S–2XL and 26 colors).

    9. A pair of low-heel ankle boots because no one should have to completely sacrifice style for comfort — these beauties let you have the best of both worlds!

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

I have wide feet, so buying boots online is miserable for me. These fit wonderfully, and I simply chose a half-size up. I've walked around in these for eight hours straight and returned home without any pain. They go with basically anything in my closet and look really nice for a casual outfit. At the same time, I can see myself pairing them with a nice skirt.

Another huge selling point for me was that they aren't suede — I can actually wear them out in the rain without worrying about ruining them!

Get it from Amazon for $37.99 (available in sizes 5.5–11 and 15 colors/styles).

    10. These eyeglass sleeves since they perfectly prevent your glasses from sliding off your face while remaining basically unnoticeable.

    Amazon, Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

My new pair of glasses were nearly perfect. The one problem was that they were just a little too big for my face. They kept sliding down my nose to an uncomfortable point. So I went online and searched for a way to keep my glasses up and these popped up.

The silicone sleeves are really flexible, so they'll bend to fit the arched arm of your glasses. You just need to shimmy them into place. I'm on a computer all day (literally 10+ hours a day), so I'm wearing my glasses all day long and I don't even feel these sleeves! They're totally unnoticeable, don't hurt the backs of your ears, and never need adjusting.

Get a pack of five pairs from Amazon for $5.85 (available in three colors).

    11. A coiled ring sizer to prevent you from taking a trip to the jeweler to get your favorite ring re-sized.

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

I got this beautiful ring (pictured above) but it was about a size too big for me. I didn't want to deal with the stress of always looking down to make sure it was still there, but I also didn't want to just not wear it anymore. This $8 solution made it possible for me to comfortably wear my ring everyday!

You get a pack of tiny coils that you'll have to wrap around your ring till you achieve your desired fit, then cut them. The more coils you wrap on, the tighter the fit will be. I was worried that it would be clunky and ugly and noticeable around the band, but it isn't! It's soft, too, so you don't really feel it.

Get a pack of 12 from Amazon for $7.99.

    12. This heated massager so you can bring the relaxation of a spa treatment right to your home. Your tired back and feet will totally thank you.

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

As I type this at my living room table, I have the massager on the floor working away at the bottoms of my feet. It's very relaxing and helps smooth out some sore areas — especially if you've been walking all day and need a good rub.

It's built with heated rotating balls (though, you can turn off the heat if you want) that are firm but not painful. They change direction every few minutes so you don't overwork a particular area. I mostly just use it for my feet but this can also be used on your back.

Get it from Amazon for $64.95.

    13. A set of colored markers/pens that leave behind such vibrant color that you'll actually want to use them more and more (I use them in my planner to keep things lively).

    Jasmin Suknanan / BuzzFeed

These fine-tip pens are perfect for writing and doodling. I use my planner daily and seeing all the colors inside motivates me to keep using it. I love that these pens don't bleed through the page, unlike others, but they deliver shockingly pigmented color.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    14. And, a pack of anti-nausea gum if you're like me and can't go on a long drive without starting to feel really queasy.

    The pack of gum

I get reaaaally car sick easily — even if it's just a two-hour drive. Eating beforehand doesn't seem to help, and not eating is also not an option. This gum, however, has been my savior for drives both long and short.

Back in January, I went on an all-day road trip and chewed this ginger gum when my stomach started doing back flips and the vomit was slowly inching its way up my throat. Within minutes of chewing, it totally eliminated my nausea and let me carry on enjoying the ride.

This also works for plane or boat sickness, but it even works when you're not in motion but have a sudden wave of queasiness that you want gone.

Get it from Amazon for $5.65.
