Honestly, you're just really scared about the future. Not your future personally, but about the way you fear the world is going. You're scared of things getting worse and worse, of an impending apocalypse, and are worried about how the human race will survive.

The future of humanity

You may often want to speak up or stand out more than you do currently, but fear of being ridiculed by your peers sometimes holds you back. You could have some really great things to contribute, but the possibility of being laughed at or considered foolish means you can be more tentative than you'd like.

Being ridiculed

You place a lot of value on what your loved ones think of you and in general you're a bit of a people pleaser, so you'd never want them to feel disappointed in you in a big way, and this fear is definitely something that plays into any decisions you make.

Disappointing your loved ones

You know there's loads of things that you want to do, but whenever you see someone your age achieve those things, it makes you over-examine how you're doing in your own life. You often imagine yourself at your peak; having achieved everything you want, so the thought of not getting there is something you dread the idea of.

Not fulfilling your potential

You're worried about being alone. Not even necessarily in a sense of not having friends or acquaintances, but more about _feeling_ alone. Human interaction and companionship is a really important part of your life, and to lose it or not have it at all concerns you.

Being alone

The idea of not knowing just really freaks you out. People who take big risks without really thinking about it astonish you, and sometimes you're tempted to reject opportunities because you feel safer with what you know. Anything about the future that involves things you don't have concrete answers about scares you a lot.
