Most of the cheaper stuff or own branded stock is produced by the 'big brand' company anyway such as the fruit corners and rice are made by Muller for aldi/lidl
It's not actually eating the horsemeat itself that is the problem, it's a drug they use on horses which is illegal to enter the food chain in the UK.
