Here's The Stunning New Edition Of "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?"

A new special illustrated version of Philip K. Dick's masterpiece just in time for the sequel to Blade Runner!

Good news for fans of Blade Runner and Philip K. Dick: There's a sequel to the classic sci-fi film coming out called Blade Runner 2049, and now there's a special illustrated edition of Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (upon which Blade Runner is based) too.

The special edition, from publisher The Folio Society, features Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? on one side, and another one of Philip K. Dick's works, A Scanner Darkly, upside down on the other side in tête-bêche binding style.

The Folio Society provided BuzzFeed with images of and from the new 488-page edition, which contains 12 full-page color illustrations by Chris Skinner and Andrew Archer, and one double-page spread by both artists. It is also bound in cloth and comes in a slipcase.

Illustrations for Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep? were done by Chris Skinner, those for A Scanner Darkly were done by Andrew Archer, and all are incredibly striking.

You can get a copy of the new joint edition of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and A Scanner Darkly at The Folio Society here.
