When a report claimed that Tina Fey’s Little Stranger production company signed on to produce Disney’s rumored Hocus Pocus sequel, it seemed almost too good to be true. And sadly, it is: BuzzFeed has confirmed that the Emmy winner is not attached to the project.
Fans have long waited for a sequel to the 1993 Halloween staple — starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as a campy coven of sister witches — and it looks like they’ll have to keep waiting.
However, there is good news: Disney is in early development on an untitled witch project with Fey producing along with Allison Shearmur — and Fey is also attached to star! Let the witching hour begin.
