What better show to watch than the reboot of the original teen witch, Sabrina? Not only is her spooky sweet 16 actually on Halloween, but she has some wicked magical powers that may or may not be powered by the Dark Lord himself. Binge the first two seasons to see if Sabrina picks the human world or the witch world. We know which world we would pick.
With all the monsters, scares, and '80s halloween costumes, October is the perfect time to start watching one of Netflix's most popular series, Stranger Things. Get some wicked inspiration for your costume and dress up like a local Scoops Ahoy ice-cream slinger!
If you're a scary movie connoisseur, this is the perfect Halloween show for you. Complete with ghosts, creepy children who hear things go bump in the night, and an incredibly haunted house, this show has plenty of scares to give you quite a few nightmares and then some!
Do you like Pretty Little Liars and Teen Wolf? If so, this spooky teen drama from 2013 is the perfect Netflix original show for you. Set in a small town in Pennsylvania, unrealistically gorgeous high schoolers are brought together after a brutal murder. They soon find there's one thing they all have in common — their superhuman DNA. Basically, it's Teen Wolf on steroids with all the PLL drama.
Okay, so this show may have been acquired by Netflix after its first season was released on Chiller, but it definitely deserves to be on this list. If you're a sucker for a good slasher, you're going to love this series. Each season has a different storyline that features some of the same actors (similar to AHS) which means — you guessed it — a different deliciously creepy killer each season!
Some viewers might be a little skeptical about some of this show's supposedly true stories, but nonetheless, they're still frightening. You'll find terrifyingly true stories of poltergeists, possessions, and ghosts galore in this Netflix original. If you find some of the reenactments silly, go ahead and laugh. But remember — it's always funny until it happens to you.
While we wouldn't say SCD is necessarily scary, it's still chock full of gore and the undead! If you get too spooked from one of the previous shows, we recommend this one as a palette cleanser. It's delightfully silly and sweet. And the bonus is we get to see Drew Barrymore eat people! It's a win-win for everyone.
