When The Scotsman announced it was axing 45 jobs, most people expressed their sympathy to the out-of-work journalists.
But some Scottish nationalists had a slightly different reaction.
The problem seemed to be that The Scotsman didn't support independence in the run-up to September's referendum.
Some journalists pointed out that laughing at job losses isn't very cool.
But the people tweeting didn't seem to care.
Overall, it's fair to say the celebrations haven't really gone down well.
