Nicola Sturgeon has popped the question to this man's boyfriend to help him secure a Yes.
The first minister of Scotland, who was at an SNP event in Oban in the west of Scotland, was asked by Ian to propose to his boyfriend Paul. She's taken part in Scottish marriage celebrations before, having gatecrashed a stag do last month.
Sturgeon tweeted it was her "fave moment" of the SNP meeting in Oban on Monday night.

She delivered the question to Ian on Paul's behalf, gesturing towards Paul so there was no confusion.

She was "delighted to report" that Ian said yes.
