As children we learn a lot about the world through the movies we watch.
It's thanks to Hollywood that I spent the first 12 years of my life terrified that I'd one day die in an encounter with quicksand.
So what we want to know is what misconception did you pick up from a movie as a child?

Maybe it was movies that made you believe amnesia was just an everyday thing that happened to most people.
As a child TV and movies made me believe that amnesia was a common occurrence.
Or perhaps movies gave you some false expectations about falling in love.
As a small child, movies made me believe that when a guy saw a cute girl, he saw her in slow motion.
