This Quiz Will Help You Decide What Horror Movies To Watch Next

Dating back to 1978, there are 11 potential film options for you to binge in the horror franchise that started it all (that is, if you include the two Rob Zombie versions). Obviously, the 2018 reboot is required, especially if you're hyped for the upcoming _Halloween Kills_ and _Halloween Ends_. Get ready for a Michael Myers bonanza (but don't skip _Halloween III_ just because he isn't in it)!

_Halloween_

Starting in 1984, this nightmare-fueled binge will include nine movies (unless you skip the 2010 remake). From the downright scary (the original) to the delightfully campy (_Dream Warriors_), this franchise has range. Also, Freddy Krueger reigns supreme when it comes to villains. But Beware: _Freddy vs. Jason_ could also lead you to a _Friday the 13th_ fest.

_Nightmare on Elm Street_

_Scream 5_ is planned for 2022, so there's no better time to binge 1–4. Heck, you can do that in a day! The franchise kicked off in 1996 and rebooted horror for the better. Not a bad movie in the bunch (yes, we WILL defend _Scream 3_ until the day we die by Ghostface's hand).

_Scream_

Jason Voorhees' vengeful mom may have been the threat in the 1980 original, but horror fans eventually came to know Jason and his hockey mask as one of horror's most iconic villains. There are 12 movies for you to enjoy on your binge unless you skip the 2009 remake. But Beware: _Freddy vs. Jason_ could also lead you to a _Nightmare on Elm Street_ fest.

_Friday the 13th_

Not every _Saw_ film is a winner, but you might want to feast your eyes on all eight movies before _Spiral_ comes out next year. The fact that it stars Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson has up hopeful for a franchise resurgence. However, if you can't handle that much torture in one binge, we insist that you at least indulge in the first two movies, which were released in 2004 and 2005.

_Saw_

_The Conjuring_ universe started in 2013 and goes deeper than you may realize! There's _The Conjuring_ and _The Conjuring 2_, but they also tie in with the three _Annabelle_ movies, _The Nun_, and _The Curse of La Llorona_. Catch up before the upcoming slate of movies, which includes _The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It_, _The Crooked Man,_ and an untitled _The Nun_ follow-up.
