We asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us which unpopular movies they actually love. Here are the results.

1. Catwoman

Warner Bros. Pictures / Via

"I love the Catwoman movie with Halle Berry. It's a fresh origin story about a strong, awesome woman! And she looks fierce in her suit."

"I love, love, love this movie and the soundtrack is really gorgeous. I just don’t get the hate."

2. The Village

Buena Vista Pictures / Via

"Some people hate it, and I have never understood why. It's suspenseful and a little creepy. Bryce Dallas Howard is amazing."

"Most people really hate the ending, but I loved it and understood why the characters did what they did."

3. The Transformers franchise

Paramount Pictures / Via

"They are great, funny, crazy, fun, sci-fi action movies. They are perfect for when you want to watch a mindless, entertaining spectacle. They also contain good music and special effects."

4. Grease 2

Paramount Pictures / Via

"I know it's blasphemy, but I like it even more than the original. First of all, Michelle Pfeiffer is a badass. Second, Maxwell Caulfield is a babe. Third, the song 'Reproduction' is a damn bop!"

"I think it’s one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of all time!"

6. Tusk

A24 / Via

"I absolutely adore Tusk. It's bizarre and nonsensical and made me belly laugh, but also managed to creep me out! If you're willing to roll with its batshittery, I'm gonna propose that Tusk has its rewards."

7. Cloud Atlas

Warner Bros. Pictures / Via

"Cloud Atlas is a masterpiece with wonderful characters, great acting and music, and a very interesting storyline. It's seriously underestimated, people hate it without reason. "

"Just a stunning movie in my book."

8. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

20th Century Fox / Via

"I know it had shitty reviews and was literally the reason Sean Connery retired (seriously, this came out in 2003 and he hasn't been in anything since), but I think it's a fun movie."

"How many steampunk movies exist? An untapped genre, I tell ya!"

11. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

Warner Bros. Pictures / Via

"King Arthur was supposedly one of the worst movies of this year. I disagree. It got way more hate than it deserved. Truly sad. I loved Guy’s fast-paced, action-packed storytelling. It was truly a masterpiece."

"It was my favorite summer action movie of 2017. The soundtrack is also amazing."

14. Batman and Robin

Warner Bros. / Via

"I will never be ashamed to admit I love Batman and Robin. Uma Thurman introduced me to Poison Ivy whom I have been a fan of ever since. She made that movie amazing."

"I love how corny and extra it is. The things that most people hate about it make me laugh the most."

"George Clooney is the best Batman, even better than Bale. It’s so good, even Arnold’s very punny Mr. Freeze is awesome!"

16. The Star Wars prequels

Lucasfilm / Via

"The Phantom Menace just so happens to be my favorite Star Wars movie. They get hated on a lot because of the 'constant' use of CGI and lack of practical effects, but I think they're great."

"In my opinion, they gave Darth Vader a great backstory that explains why he's the way he is in the original three."

"I shamelessly love the prequels. While I agree Jar Jar is an insufferably bad character, I can't help but love the relationships between Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan."

20. Grown Ups

Columbia Pictures / Via

"That movie will always be funny to me. I watched it a lot when I was younger, so there's nostalgia attached to it. It has some crude humor, but it never really crosses into an uncomfortable or gross territory."

"I laughed my way through both!"

23. Daredevil

20th Century Fox / Via

"Daredevil with Ben Affleck is a movie I saw in theaters twice! I loved it. I thought he really captured a great character. I loved the religious dilemmas and his chemistry with Jennifer Garner."

"There may have been cheesy parts, but Michael Clarke Duncan was a solid Kingpin and the action scenes were tolerable."

26. Waterworld

Universal Pictures / Via

"I love the idea of an opposite apocalypse, with all the water and not deserts. I love Dennis Hopper. I constantly quote this movie. It’s so misunderstood, and I don’t care!"

"Waterworld is a great movie."

28. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Warner Bros. / Via

"I dig Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor. Luthor is usually depicted as a suave and smooth villain, but he brings eccentricities to the table and it works."

"Keaton was a fantastic Bruce Wayne, but a bad Batman. Bale was a terrible Bruce Wayne, but an outstanding Batman. But Affleck was really great at both."
