What Things From "Sex And The City" Would Absolutely Be Unacceptable In 2019?

It was a great show, but hey...facts are facts.

Before y'all come for me, let me say this: I LOVE Sex and the City. However, we can't deny that the show was also VERY problematic.

Maybe you noticed it in the episode "Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl" when Carrie said, "I’m not even sure bisexuality exists. I think it’s just a layover on the way to Gaytown," about her new beau.

Perhaps its the casual amount of slut-shaming that exists on the show, especially around Samantha and how she chooses to explore her own sexuality.

Or the problem for you — as it was for me — was how white-washed the show was. Y'all, it was SOOO white.

And the few people of color we DID see were grossly stereotyped. Y'all remember when Samantha started dating a black man in the music industry and then began speaking and dressing differently around his "crew?"

So, what are the moments in Sex and the City that you find problematic as hell? Tell us in the DropBox below and you may just be included in a BuzzFeed Community post or video!
