Choose Some College Courses And We'll Reveal Which Type Of Procrastinator You Are

This procrastinator is driven by not wanting to be embarrassed or make mistakes. You may spend too much time on one component of your work, failing to manage your time properly, or avoid the project altogether, then rush to finish it at the last minute. Ironically, this may increase the likelihood of you making mistakes.

The Perfectionist Procrastinator

You don't want to be made the fool. You traditionally feel unqualified or inferior even though that is not the case. Thus, you procrastinate in hope to avoid risk. This type of procrastination is usually cultivated in an environment where you are surrounded by people who are difficult to please — could be a parent, friend, teacher, or boss!

The Impostor Procrastinator

You're bored. When work, school, or some other chore is unpleasant or boring, you procrastinate to avoid it. The work may be tedious or it could just be beneath you — either way, your procrastination goes up when your level of interest goes down.

The Dread-Filled Procrastinator

There is just TOO much to do and you don't even know where to start. Anxiety starts to build and the task before you now appears to be this looming responsibility. Whether you've chosen the amount of work or it was just given to you, it doesn't matter — you don't want to do it.

The Overwhelmed Procrastinator

Believe it or not some people do their best work under pressure and, congrats, you seem to be one of them. With your back up to the wall you can churn out whatever project you were supposed to do in less time than others with equal to greater outcomes. Be careful though, as this luck does tend to stop at some point...
