After a tease from Beyoncé on Sunday, the first real look at the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey premiered on Today on Thursday morning.
The movie follows the relationship between innocent college graduate Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and intimidatingly sexy business magnate Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), who meet when she goes to his office to interview him.
And things quickly escalate...
Apparently, what Ana wants...
BRB. Going to take a cold shower.
Dornan and Johnson were on the Today set on Thursday for the trailer's debut and they discussed the highly anticipated movie, based on E.L. James' 2011 erotic novel of the same name.
Dornan replaced Sons of Anarchy Charlie Hunnam in the sought-after role of intimidatingly sexy business magnate Christian Grey and said "it was pretty exciting" when he got the 2 a.m. call in London that he'd been cast.
As for their sex scenes, Johnson said, "It's not like a romantic situation. It's more technical and choreographed and it's more of a task." Dornan's response? "Wow."
Johnson, the 24-year-old daughter of fellow actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson said she probably wouldn't want her parents to see the movie. "I mean, if it were them doing a movie I wouldn't want to see that," she added with a laugh.
