Erica Is Really The Best "Stranger Things" Character And Here's The Moments Where She Showed It

Every time Erica Sinclair opens her mouth, my world turns upside down (no pun intended).

Erica Sinclair first appeared in the second season of Stranger Things as a cheeky nine-year-old girl who was poking fun at her brother's (Lucas) Ghostbusters costume.

But apart from impressing everyone with her wit, Erica had also proven many times that her presence was "very valuable to the 'Nerd Team'" and for the success of their missions. Remember the discovery of a secret Russian HQ beneath the Starcourt Mall?

If Erica Sinclair isn't your favorite character yet, here are the top eight moments that will surely make you fall in love with her:

1. "Code shut-your-mouth"

Dustin was caught in a very tough situation when his dearest pet, Dart, suddenly transformed into a scary Demogorgon and mercilessly devoured his cat. With hopes of getting some help from his friends, he tried to call on his radio and raised a code red. Good news, someone picked up. Unfortunately, it was Erica who apparently had no interest in getting involved. Of course, she didn't lift a finger and immediately hung up even before Dustin got a chance to explain himself. Poor Dustin and Mews.

2. "Shh! Shh! Shhh!"

After Erica and the Scoops Ahoy gang almost died escaping their Russian enemies, they chose to hide inside a movie theater. But one of their seat mates was obviously annoyed by their loud voices, so she swooshed them away. Instead of offering a decent apology, Erica, together with Dustin, faced her fiercely and swooshed her back.

3. And "slit your throat!"

Thanks to Erica, the team managed to enter the elevator and got to see what was inside the mysterious boxes. When they thought it was now a moment of celebration, the elevator suddenly went wild and locked them up inside. Erica — who was evidently scared for her life — warned the nerdy trio that if she was not home by tomorrow, her mom would hunt them down one by one and slit their throats.

4. "You're all so nerdy, it makes me physically ill"

While they successfully accomplished a lot of things together, like breaking into a heavily-guarded facility and dodging eminent dangers one after another, Erica was still not cool with hanging around the geeky squad. Holding random conversations about promethium, cybernetic components, and Prometheus was simply not her thing.

5. "More fudge, please!"

Since Erica was well-aware of how capitalism works in the country, her brilliant negotiation to demand USS Butterscotch ice cream with extra fudge in exchange for her valuable service came as no surprise.

6. "My name is Lady Applejack"

At first, Eddie Munson was skeptical about accepting Erica into the Hellfire Club. But after she started speaking and introduced herself as D&D's Lady Applejack —who was a level-14 half-elf rogue — Eddie changed his mind in a split second and offered Erica a handshake.

7. "You're still my brother"

While preparing the spears for their upcoming battle against Vecna, Lucas and Erica were seen to be having a little heart-to-heart chat. Erica maintained her witty manner, but in a way, she sincerely offered Lucas her all-out support.

8. And "you can't spell America without Erica"

Counting all the work she had done amidst the potential threat of booby traps and spikes in the wall, nobody could ever touch Erica and doubt her love for the country. Saving Hawkins, and probably the entire nation, ran in her blood (or in her name, rather).
