Want to save but don’t want to stop spending? Here are some tips that help you save smart!

1. Keep savings jars

Savings jars are a great way to save, especially because you don’t have the cash on hand! There are many ways to do this, and it’s up to your imagination and creativity to use savings jars in the most effective way for you.

You could separate your cash in jars based on your specific saving goals, or keep a loose change jar, where you throw in all your spare change; even if you save one dollar a day, you end up saving $365 by the end of the year.

3. Set aside a portion of your salary or allowance

Splitting your money for different purposes would totally help you save strictly and big time! For example, if you split 10% for emergency or general savings, another 10% for a trip you want to save for, and the rest for your weekly or monthly spendings, you’re sure to reach your goal after a period of time. After all, slow and steady wins the race! (;

4. It’s the company that counts

Going out with friends doesn't always need to be expensive! Instead of shopping, why not catch up over simple lunch at your local food court? After all, it’s not what you’re doing, but who you are doing it with.
