Netflix Australia Have Released Their June Lineup Just In Time To Cure Your Self-Iso Boredom

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

I can't decide if May has gone faster or slower than the previous month — and the fact that I'm even debating that is proof that I've well and truly lost my marbles.

But enough about me (ew, personal stuff!), let's hear about the bloody good lineup Netflix Australia have planned for June.

First off, there's going to be a bunch of new seasons from all your fave shows. I'm talking about 13 Reasons Why (June 5), Queer Eye (June 5) and The Sinner (June 19).

There's been a mixed reaction to 13 Reasons Why ever since it came out. But whether you love or hate it, with the final season looming over us, it'll be interesting to see how things are tied up.

On the other hand, Queer Eye feels like the kind of wholesome joy that everyone — including myself — is absolutely craving to lift them out of their self-iso depression. Season 5 can't have come at a better time.

Last, but definitely not least, is The Sinner. Although this series has been nominated for a Golden Globe, I still feel like it flies under the radar — so here's your reminder to get stuck into it, especially if you're a fan of crime and mystery. It follows an anthology format and Season 3 will star Matt Bomer as the lead character.

And if that hasn't already got you excited, there'll also be new instalments of The Order (June 18) and The Politician (June 19).

Both shows have a loyal following, but I feel like The Order — which touches on the bad blood between werewolves and magicians — is perfect if you're experiencing a Twilight renaissance and are craving a much-needed dose of fantasy.

There'll also be a bunch of new movie releases to suss out, like Da 5 Bloods (June 12) and Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga (June 26).

Directed by Academy Award winner Spike Lee, Da 5 Bloods focuses on the story of four African-American veterans who return to Vietnam to search for the remains of their fallen squad leader (played by Chadwick Boseman).

Meanwhile, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga is a comedy starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. It follows two small-town singers attempting to fulfil their dream of competing in the world's biggest song contest.

As well as their usual offering of blockbusters — like Moonlight (June 1), Blade Runner: The Final Cut (June 1) and It: Chapter 2 (June 4) — that pair perfectly with your snuggliest of blankets and a glass of wine.

Moonlight has been on my to-watch list for just about forever, so here's my chance to FINALLY watch it.

And if you don't like the sound of those, luckily there's heaps for you to choose from, like Selena (June 1), The Holiday (June 30) and Johnny English (June 30).
