I put it on the morning of a 11 p.m. long haul flight and it lasted throughout the entire day, the flight, then the whole time I was at work the next day. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 — $12.90 Catherine Scro / BuzzFeed I was told that hyaluronic acid was a must-have in my beauty regime to help my skin hold moisture. After researching different brands, I found The Ordinary to be highly rated and I have to say, I absolutely love it! My skin feels supple after applying it and while it's a little sticky at first, it dries up into the skin, quickly leaving it feeling fresh and full of moisture. It is literally LIFE JUICE for my face. The consistency is the same as the oil your face naturally produces, so it doesn't clog you up or make you look oily (this is coming from someone who has oily skin!). Ultra Violette "SkinScreen" Collection — From $42 Julia Willing / BuzzFeed I'm a shameless SPF addict and this year my obsession has been the Ultra Violette "SkinScreen" (geddit?) range. Aussie born and bred, all of the products are lightweight yet super durable — and they won't pill, ball or leave a heinous shine all over your face. I love the 50+ Supreme Screen for daily use — it has a light tint to it, so my face never looks chalky or gravely ill. And the Queen Screen is what I pop on for the beach or any outdoor activity. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser — $16.99 Lane Sainty / BuzzFeed As I edge closer to 30 and become more aware of my mortality with every passing second, it has occurred to me that I ought to take better care of my skin. The ensuing resolution — to wear sunscreen every day, as well as a "serum" that I am unconvinced does anything at all but continue to slather on for vanity's sake — came with a problem, namely, that I have to wash this additional layer off each evening. Glossier Boy Brow — $23.27 Hannah Ryan / BuzzFeed I’ve enthusiastically bought nearly every Glossier product ever created, but it’s only Boy Brow (and the sunscreen) that I truly rate. Boy Brow fills in and styles your brows with an easy flick and looks much more natural than other eyebrow products I’ve tried, like pencils and gels. Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil — $61 Nicki Williams / BuzzFeed I love, love, love this oil! The moment I apply two drops to my pre-washed skin, I feel like a new woman. Pair it with some hyaluronic acid and an SPF50+ moisturiser, and there's your skincare regime. Plus, if I wear this morning and night, I'm almost guaranteed to be asked for ID when going into pubs. Hot Tresses Rehab Shampoo and Conditioner — $24.40 each Isha Bassi / BuzzFeed I'm always on the lookout for products with natural ingredients, so I was excited to give this shampoo and conditioner duo a try when I received it as a PR gift. After my first run at it, I was pleasantly surprised! The smell is lovely and fresh, although I did find myself using more shampoo than usual as it was a bit difficult to use a lather. But that aside, it left my hair feeling clean and moisturised, without any of that "leftover residue" you sometimes feel.
